Why Argentina?

" Explore Earth in Argentina is one of the best decisions I made while in college. The program offers you the chance to see some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. From 22,000 foot snow capped peaks to the booming night life of Buenos Aires, Argentina has everything to offer. I am a geology major and it allowed me to receive 10 hours of credit and the field methods class greatly prepared me for geology field school the following summer. Argentina is a fascinating country that still reflects much of its European heritage. It's a little piece of Europe at the southern tip of South America. If you have the opportunity, GO!, it will be one of the best experiences of your college career."
Will Stephens. Explore Earth in Argentina Summer 2008.

There are many obvious reasons why you would want to participate in our program. Among them:
  • To travel and get to know a different culture
  • To enjoy landscapes few have seen
  • To complete science credits
  • To satisfy Environmental Literacy
  • To satisfy a Foreign Language requirement
  • To practice your Spanish
But perhaps the most important reasons are in the profound ways in which the program will enrich you as an individual.

We have outlined some of these less conspicuous outcomes in the pages that follow. See what's in store for you in the future.
